We fell in love with DEWEY's self-confessed "big gay love letter" 'Is It Infatuation?' just a matter of weeks ago and we were delighted to discover that on Friday, the Brighton-based artist lifted the lid on two intriguing remixes by Throwing Snow and Hinako Omori respectively. Having reeled us in with her incredible 'Bank Of Inner Criticisms' last year, we decided to take a closer look at synthesizer aficionado Hinako Omori's reimagining of the danceable tune. Beautifully drawn out, Omori's remix stretches slowly to reveal ambient layers of atmospheric synth work as DEWEY's slowed-down vocals emphasise the deep and passionate yearning that's felt in the lyrics. There's an almost meditative quality about the tune, as it gently pushes forward, encouraging you close your eyes and succumb to its surreally hypnotic power. Check it out here now. -Holly Mullineaux
